BESTeam Weekly Feature: The Garden Room By: Patricia Snow
I am truly honored to feature such a great artist, Patricia Snow. Patricia sells her fabulous work at The Garden Room-http://www.etsy.com/shop/thegardenroom.
Patricia is even having a giveaway for one of her prints, enter to win at: http://patriciasnow.blogspot.com/2010/04/give-away-original-colored-pencil.html Contest ends April 30, 2010.

Jenny
Mostly a self taught artist, Patricia received a diploma in art after completing an art course studying all mediums with The Penn Foster College. She also taken lessons locally studying acrylic and oil painting. Although Patricia paints in all mediums her favorite is watercolor and colored pencils.
Originally from Portland, Maine; Patricia currently resides in Florida. I wander if that is where she gets the inspiration to use such bright and cheerful colors?

Personalized Gifts for Mother's Day
We are now taking orders for personalized fused glass pendants.
A great personalized gift! Send me a picture and I will create a decal to fire onto a glass pendant. The contents of the decal burn into the glass, so the image turns a nice sepia (brown) tone and will not scratch or fade off.
Your image will be resized to about 1 inch and fired onto a white piece of glass. You may chose one color frame/border or just have a great white pendant that can be worn with any outfit.
The finished pendant will be about 1 1/2 inches. Sizes and shape does vary, these are completely handmade and shaped.
Everything is created in my cat friendly, smoke free home studio.
Border/Frame colors to chose from:
White
Black

BESTeam Weekly Feature: Clever Crafter
Our weekly feature is of Clever Crafter; http://www.etsy.com/shop/clevercrafter. I found some great affordable pieces that are truly unique and one of a kind. Clever Crafter and I share a Birthday and a love for buttons.
Clever Crafter creates in Lansing, Michigan in the United States. Admittedly her crafting can be out of control. The last time she moved the number of craft supply and project boxes outnumbered the boxes for the rest of the house! Beading, knitting, crochet, cross stitch, quilting, and other random crafts I come across keep my hands busy at all times!

BESTeam Weekly Feature: Fish Princess Designs
I am featuring fellow BESTeam member Fish Princess Designs (http://www.etsy.com/shop/fishprincessdesigns). She creates hand crafted jewelry using semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals, beach stones, beach glass, fossils, sterling silver, gold and copper. Fish Princess Designs is created in Metro Detroit, Waterford, Michigan.
I was surprised to find out that by day she is an accountant. To release her creative side, she creates this line of jewelry. She also enjoys fly fishing-a well rounded woman! Is that where the fish in the shop name come from?
Bridal/Luxe Collection at fishprincessdesigns's Shop
Her inspirations come from the great outdoors... a mountain stream, a walk in the woods, the beautiful Great Lakes, a fabulous sunset, a stormy sky...

Sepia Decals for Glass Fusing
As you may know, my husband and I create a line of jewelry. But we also create a line of Sepia Decals for glass fusing, enameling and ceramics.
Each $5 sheet is about 4 inches by 5 inches (minus any margin needed). And you guessed it, a full 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet is $20. We create ready made and custom decals. Our ready made decals are available at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/BeaderyDestash and you can contact us through there or here about our custom made sheets.
Just cut, soak decal in water, apply to glass and fire to permanently fuse design onto glass surface. Image will not scratch off or fade when applied correctly. Instructions for glass fusing come with your purchase. We currently do not have full instructions for enamel or ceramic firings yet.
Our water slide decals can also be used to customize your models with signature stripes, logos, initials, and signs too!
Yes you can even use our decals on your model projects like model railroads, die-cast cars, ships, vehicles, rockets, airplanes, etc. No firing needed, just apply and let dry. To protect your image from scratches, apply a clear acrylic top coat to the decal.
All decals are made in our pet loving home. Some images are stock clip art and others are artwork and photography created by our family.
Our decals are ready made so you can easily add pictures to your any COE fused glass, ceramics, enamel, and model projects. You get a couple of free decals to test on-so you don't waste the ones you pay for.
Example of 4 x 5 inch sheet of decals from BeaderyDestash.etsy.com

Our ready made decals are available at: http://www.etsy.com/shop/BeaderyDestash and you can contact us through there or here about our custom made sheets.
Most of our decal images are about 1 inch and there can be up to 30 (and sometimes more) decals on one small sheet. When you custom order a sheet of decals, the images will be in whatever size you need them to be in.
The images on the decal will turn a nice sepia (browns) tone once fired. The darker black an image is before firing means it will be a darker brown after firing. The lighter grey decals should only be fired onto white glass as they will not show up on colored glass very well.

At Beaderydestash.etsy.com you will also find my destash jewelry supplies. Recently I have moved into a larger studio and was forced to clean the old one out, so I have a few things that I just don't need anymore. My loss of your gain because I am selling these for less than what I paid for them. So I am sure you will get a good deal. And I like to throw freebies in with my orders!
Have a fabulous day!
Jenn
