Alexander's Designs is now Ugly Glass & Company.  Ugly Glass & Company is located at 109 East Lexington Ave; Independence, MO 64050.  Our  store hours are Tuesday thru Saturday 10 am to 5 pm.
We offer the same great handmade jewelry we have for years as well as works from other artists from the US.  Stop by and see us in person.

Garnett, KS Square Fair

We will have a booth at the upcoming:
40th Annual Square Fair Crafts Festival - May 12, 2012 Where it's cool to be square.For almost 40 years Square Fair has been a mainstay tradition in Garnett. Held annually on the Saturday before Mother's Day, Square Fair is the "cool" place to bring mom and the entire family.

On May 12th enjoy a variety of crafters, business booths, food vendors and a little mix of farmer's market as the festival takes over downtown Garnett. Presented by Garnett Business and Professional Women, Square Fair was founded 40 years ago by the local chapter of American Association of University Women (AAUW). Square Fair has graced the grounds of the Anderson County Courthouse in the center of Garnett as one of the most famous events in the area and one of the largest festivals held in Garnett.
In conjunction with Square Fair, the Pieces and Patch Quilt Guild will have a special quilt exhibit to be held on the north side of the town square.
Partake of tours of the Walker Art Gallery, Harris House, Anderson County Historical Museum and Santa Fe Depot.

Garnett is located 50 miles south of Lawrence, approximately 70 miles southeast of Topeka and 50 miles southwest of Olathe in eastern Kansas. This charming community is located at the junction of US 59,US 169 and K-31 highways.

Johnson County Old Settlers Days

Friday and Saturday Skip will be demonstrating his lampwork glass at the Johnson County Old Settlers Days.

Friday, September 9th, from 12 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, September 10th,  from 10 am to 9 pm enjoy handmade crafts, jams, jewelry, lots of great food and entertainment.

Samuel L. Clemens Arts & Crafts Festival in Hannibal, MO

The 35th Annual
SAMUEL L. CLEMENS ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL
 
Held During National Tom Sawyer Days
 
The Arts & Crafts Fesitval will be held in Central Park, in the heart of Hannibal, Missouri.  126 booths of handmade goodness is expected with a sold out show this year.

A Hannibal tradition for over 50 years. The National Tom Sawyer Days celebration focuses on wholesome family fun. Visitors of all ages can watch or join in many of the activities, including the National Fence Painting Championships, a frog jumping competition, Tom and Becky Contest, Tomboy Sawyer Competition, the Sam Clemens-Kiwanis Arts and Craft Show, Mississippi Mud Volleyball, stage entertainment, dancing, great food, a spectacular 4th of July fireworks display and much more.
