Handmade crafts and original artwork provide you with a level of individuality not available from mass market retailers. Each crafter brings their own design and creativity to their projects. Even given the same pattern, handmade crafters will produce outcomes with a variety of colors, textures, fabrics and sizes.

Taking all of this into consideration, hand made crafts offer many more gift giving options for those impossible to buy for people on your holiday and birthday lists. The person that “has everything” really does not, and a trip around your local craft fair or online craft mall is sure to turn up something new.

Have a great day!

Handmade Features -Great Gifts For Under $10!!!

Before I start with this weeks features, I wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the Sermon Center.  We have done that show for 5 or 6 years now and 2009 was our best yet-Thank you for that!!!
A quick note about our upcoming show after Thanksgiving:
Instead of spending your whole day at the mall, come out and spend a day in Jamesport, Missouri!  Jamesport is a small town nestled in the rolling hills of Northwestern Missouri. The town flourished in the 19th century until the main railroad route across the heartland drove through Kansas City, leaving towns like Jamesport off the beaten path and slowly fading into history.
Today Jamesport is reinventing itself and blossoming into a tourist destination that features a nostalgic slice of history.
Jamesport is also home to Missouri's largest Amish community and hosts a large number of both Amish and English shops and activities that cater to tourists wanting to return to days gone past. Come step back in time and join us here in our heartland paradise.

24th Annual “Step Back in Time” CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL CRAFT SHOW

November 27 & 28, 2009 Jamesport, Missouri
