40th Annual Square Fair Crafts Festival - May 12, 2012 Where it's cool to be square. For almost 40 years Square Fair has been a mainstay tradition in Garnett. Held annually on the Saturday before Mother's Day, Square Fair is the "cool" place to bring mom and the entire family.
On May 12th enjoy a variety of crafters, business booths, food vendors and a little mix of farmer's market as the festival takes over downtown Garnett. Presented by Garnett Business and Professional Women, Square Fair was founded 40 years ago by the local chapter of American Association of University Women (AAUW). Square Fair has graced the grounds of the Anderson County Courthouse in the center of Garnett as one of the most famous events in the area and one of the largest festivals held in Garnett.
In conjunction with Square Fair, the Pieces and Patch Quilt Guild will have a special quilt exhibit to be held on the north side of the town square.
Partake of tours of the Walker Art Gallery, Harris House, Anderson County Historical Museum and Santa Fe Depot.
