Jazz & Wine Festival...And The Arts!

First off I would thank to thank everyone who was able to make it out to the Overland Park Fall Festival this past Saturday.  We had a good time meeting new people and catching up with some good friends.  We had great weather, a bit chilly for me, but we really lucked out with the rain!

Now off to our next Show!

Even though it is not highly promoted as so, the 9th Annual Jazz & Wine Festival does include the arts.  We are fortunate enough to be included in the fall festival this year.  The festival will be held October 3, 2009 from Noon to 9 pm at the Historic Elms Resort & Spa.  It is the perfect backdrop for this annual event.

Enjoy great jazz music, sample wine from around the world (10 tastings) and stroll the grounds with artists offering their one of a kind handmade items.

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Tickets are available on-line, visit http://www.eswinefestivals.com/News.html for more information.

Music will fill the air by various local musicians. The current line-up includes:
  • HoraceScope featuring Stan Kessler - noon - 2:00pm
  • Soaring Sax Man Dave Panico - 2:15pm-3:15pm
  • Bram Wijnands with Laura Glaeser - 3:30pm - 4:30pm
  • Killer Stray Horn - 4:45pm-6:45pm
  • The James Ward Band - 7:00pm-9:00pm
Make it a weekend - Elms hotel packages can be found at http://www.elmsresort.com/.

Our specials for this event are going to be:
Clearing out the Old!  Making Room for the New!!!
BOGO - Buy One, Get One Free on select fused glass pendants-$12 pendants with image transfers, colorful glass, Dichroic glass, and some hand torched Borosilicate glass pendants.
1/2 off (yep 50% off) any earrings on a white card.  Have you not seen my new awesome black cards-they are so fabulous that I need to get rid of all the white cards and I am too lazy to switch out the cards.  So my laziness is your gain!

So if you can join us at this fabulous event-great, we will see you there.  If not check us out at our next show:
